- Research published in the medical journal “Spine” in 2002, showed that manual therapy and exercise techniques conducted by physiotherapists, were significantly beneficial in the treatment of some headaches.

- Over 2.5 million people in Australia take medication for headaches.
- Patients aged between 25 and 44 years of age were more likely to report headaches than people in other age groups.
